Are you asking for it?
Join the Arizona Feminist Action Network for a FREE workshop on negotiating consent in your intimate relationships (and the rest of your life). Learn how practicing good consent can be fun, sexy, and empowering!
Topics covered in the workshop include:
• Common features of good consent in relationships
• Defining your own boundaries and what consent means to you
• Role playing scenarios and strategies for saying “No” and “Yes”
• A fun activity to practice your newly honed consent-building skills
Keep in mind that we will be discussing very personal topics at this workshop. Although you will not be required to share anything you’re not comfortable sharing, some of these issues can trigger emotions from past traumatic experiences. If you have any specific accommodations you’d like us to make, please message Elise or Sean, or talk to us before the workshop.
This workshop is open to people of all genders, orientations, and relationship styles.
ASL interpretation will be provided.
Bottled water and light refreshments will be provided.
The event will be held at the Rusty Spoke Bicycle Collective at 1023 Grand Ave. Here’s a map: http://rustyspoke.org/images/rs-map.png
